Vidpress Terms

Last updated: May 17, 2026

These terms apply to Vidpress, a local video compression app from Kat 'n Marlin Enterprises LLC, doing business as We-Be Friends.

Use of Vidpress

Vidpress is provided as a simple utility for compressing videos you choose from your device. You are responsible for the videos you select, compress, save, or share.

Purchases

Vidpress is sold through the Apple App Store. App Store purchases, refunds, taxes, family sharing, and billing are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and policies.

Apple Standard EULA

Unless a separate written agreement applies, your use of Vidpress is also governed by Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement for App Store apps.

Your Content

Vidpress does not claim ownership of your videos. You keep any rights you have in your content. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to compress, save, or share a video.

Backups and Output Quality

Compression changes video quality and file size. Keep backups of important original files. We do not guarantee that a compressed output will meet every quality, size, platform, or compatibility requirement.

Privacy

Vidpress is designed as a local utility. For details about video handling and support communications, read the Vidpress Privacy Policy.

No Warranty

Vidpress is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kat 'n Marlin Enterprises LLC and We-Be Friends will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of Vidpress.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
